Will Smith is not only feeling guilty for Chris Rock’s infamous punch at the 2022 Academy Awards, but he is also telling sorry to Rock’s mom.
After months of media silence, the actor from King Richard addressed the subject in a new YouTube video titled “It’s been a minute…” published on Friday, July 29. During the nearly 6-minute explanation, he took the chance to address Rock’s mother personally.
In the sensitive tape, he stated, “I wish to apologize to Chris’ mom.” “I saw an interview [she] gave, and I didn’t understand, I wasn’t thinking, but how many people were hurt in that instant.”
