The governor says Bo Jackson paid for all funeral expenses for families of the Uvalde victims.

Former player Bo Jackson paid for all funeral expenses for the families of the Uvalde school massacre victims.

"so they would have one less stuff to worry about as they are heartbroken," Texas Gov. 

As per the reports, Jackson took a flight in and presented Abbott with a check for $170k to cover the expenses while in Uvalde.

A gunman opened fire on Robb Elementary School in May, killing 19 schoolchildren and 2 adults.

A preliminary report investigating the massacre details a series of failures by various law enforcement agencies.

Jackson excelled in football and baseball at Auburn University in Alabama. 

Abbott admired the athlete for his generous donation. 

"The good thing is Americans helping each other in needy and Difficulties," Abbott said in a declaration.

"We are deeply thatnkful to Texans and Americans like Bo Jackson for their generosity.

Bo did not hesitate to contact my workplace and offer his assistance to the bereaved families."
